The Osceola Woman Newspaper™ is part of a national network of educational, informational and resourceful women’s publications from coast to coast. We are not associated with any other local publication.
The Osceola Woman’s Newspaper™ is everywhere women shop, play and live. Women pick up their copies at local health clubs, retail stores, day spas, beauty salons, retail stores physicians offices, hospitals and hundreds of locations throughout the Osceola County area and the list keeps growing!
We do not endorse political candidates or have a political agenda of any kind. Our newspapers are about us, a diverse and economically powerful segment of the population, whose goals are to improve the quality of life for ourselves and those we cherish.
Publisher, Kena Maria Blain (Parnell), has lived in Osceola County since 1968. She attended Osceola High School and graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Kena has worked in advertising sales with The Orlando Sentinel (Osceola Zoned edition), The Anniston Star Newspaper (Anniston Alabama), Meister Publishing (Winter Park) and McGraw Hill (Orlando). She brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to the Osceola Woman Newspaper.
Editor, Gregg Blain, was raised in Osceola County and attended Osceola High School. He enlisted in the U. S. Navy and was stationed/traveled the world for 20 years before returning home to retire in 1997. Gregg’s analytical skills, good business sense and knowledge of the county make him a valuable asset to the Osceola Woman Newspaper.
